Northeastern Ontario Fishing Resorts

Lady Evelyn Lake

With crystal waters, huge fish and pristine nature all around, you can only be in one place — Lady Evelyn Lake. This gem of a lake, six hours north of Toronto, is surrounded by forests and wildlife and filled with fish; truly an angler’s paradise.

Longer than 30 miles and approximately 20,000 acres, any angler will be able to find their new favourite spot.

Waters flow to the Montreal, Ottawa and St. Lawrence rivers, as the lake occupies the Atlantic watershed.

Without roads, prospective fishermen must boat in from nearby lodges or fly in. This keeps the lake tranquil and fish plentiful — and you might find yourself having the whole lake to yourself.

Red Pine Wilderness Lodge

With 7 cottages on our 7.5 acre island, you can be sure that you’ll enjoy your stay with us at Red Pine. Every cottage is fully equipped, with a dining room and Finnish sauna available to all.  Each cottage also comes with its own dock. Choose from housekeeping or American Plans, all with 16’ boots and 15 hp motors, plus gas and bait. Fish for walleye, smallmouth bass and northern pike, or take a trip out to nearby lakes and fish for trout. Come see the best of what northern Ontario has to offer with us!

Garden Island Lodge

Nine private cabins (for up to 6 people), all with lake views and located on a 13 acre island. Our main lodge serves all you can eat meals, while our boats (16.5 foot Lunds) are equipped with 25 hp stroke Yamahas, comfortable seats, nets, cradles, aerators and more. Enjoy trophy fishing for walleye, northern pike and smallmouth bass and try your hand at hauling in the catch of the day!

Ellen Island Camp

Join us for a wonderful week of fishing, sightseeing and hunting on the beautiful Lady Evelyn Lake. Enjoy the tranquility and beauty of pristine waters; there’s no driving in here! This has helped protect the waters from becoming overpopulated or ruined. Fish for pickerel, pike, and bass. Trolling, drifting, casting or still fishing are all effective here! Or, take a day trip and go a little further out for trout. If you’re into the sights, Maple Mountain is a short journey from the camp; climb the second highest peak in the province and enjoy the view that only northern Ontario has to offer.
