Northeastern Ontario Fishing Resorts

Northern Adventure

Travel north for a true fishing experience, no matter the season. With over 100 lakes and rivers flowing in the summer, or ice fishing in the winter, you’ll be doing your best to reel in walleye, trout and pike. Our accommodations are outfitted with many home comforts, but you can also set up camp or make tracks towards our more remote outpost. Beautiful Crown land and pristine waters await — bring your friends, bring your gear and experience northern fishing the Ontario way.

Olive the Lake

Enjoy the refreshing peace and tranquility at Olive the Lake, tucked into the nature of the Temagami Wilderness Forest. North of Lake Nipissing, you can find excellent walleye, small mouth and northern pike fishing here. When it’s time to turn in for the night, relax at one of our renovated cottages, built into the wooded surroundings of the lake in Marten River, Ontario.  With two to three bedroom cottages available, every view and build is different. All include fully equipped kitchens, three piece bathrooms, and new Tempur-Pedic mattresses to make sure you get the quality rest you need on vacation. We’re the only resort in the nine mile stretch; the combination of seclusion and nature, along with great fishing and rest, add up to a vacation to remember. See what northern Ontario has to offer for yourself.

Okimot Lodge

On the banks of Tomiko Lake stands Okimot Lodge, where it has been for 50 years. Conveniently located 40 miles northwest of North Bay via car, the walleye and small mouth bass fishing attracts many anglers in the spring and fall. Our easy to operate 14’ aluminium boats can take you to other adjoining lakes as well, boasting large mouth bass and speckled track. Relax in your padded swivel seat as you try your hand at reeling in your catch. The north shore is practically unoccupied, meaning more room for you to explore. Stay one one of our ten cottages. Bear, moose and grouse hunting is also plentiful in the area.
