Located on Lake Nosbonsing our camp is open year round. We offer 14 fully equipped housekeeping cottages. All cottages are lakefront or lake view, have propane or electric heat, satellite HD TV, hot water and their own fire pit. Lake Nosbonsing’s fishing is GREAT we have walleye, bass, northern pike, perch and some pretty impressive MUSKIE! In the winter we have a full service ice fishing package as well! Had enough of the daily grind. Visit us and decompress a bit! We have activities for everyone or… NOT! Just sit back and relax!

If fishing is your preferred pastime, you are not going to be disappointed! Flowing west from Trout Lake, the 76-km long river is absolutely teeming with a variety of both bait and pan fish. Our private boat-launch is also available to both day-guests and cottagers. Haul your own watercraft or reserve one of our canoes or paddle-boats.
Opimika’s vacation housekeeping cottages are surrounded by beautiful crystal clear inland lakes, a fisherman’s heaven. whether it is brook trout, laker’s, rainbow’s, splake, bass, walleye, or pike, we can get you to your choice of lake. If it is a larger waterway you are interested in, we are 6 km away from the Ottawa river, and Lake Temiscaming which boasts a length of 60 miles and 2 miles across at some points. Living year round at Opimika, we have made the switch from generators to solar power. A quieter, cleaner and definitely more environmentally friendly way to vacation, and live. No worries about power anymore, or running out of gas. The switch to solar has been a great addition to the comfort and convenience of our clients.
